Dodoma, officially Dodoma City, is the national capital of Tanzania and the capital of the Dodoma Region, with a population of 410,956. In 1974, the Tanzanian government announced that the capital would be moved to Dodoma for social and economic reasons and to centralize the capital within the country

This is the largest university in Tanzania by size, it is yet to fulfill its potential and become the most decorated university in the country

The icon of Dodoma was built in the heart of the central business district to maintain the memory and the history of the former president of the United Republic of Tanzania.
