- Once you arrive at the camp stop drinking, and only have a cup of tea with dinner (hopefully with rehydration of salt as well
- Both kinds of weather can complicate matters, be prepared for all types of weather
- You can hike Mount Meru all year round but the dry season from June to early November is the best time
- It is recommended to have Powerbank and extra batteries for Camera
- Visas are required when traveling to Tanzania, Foreigners may apply for a visa online in advance of travel
- A passport valid for a minimum of six months beyond visa insurance and/or date of entry
